This 40,000 SF worship was completed within a very tight six-month schedule, despite the Utah winter conditions. The church was designed with modern architectural features that blend well into the local neighborhood and scenic surroundings. The interior included features such as stained concrete flooring, a large indoor playground for the children’s area, and a café. This project was very successful for the church and the first service was held in March of 2012.

This project was completed for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg, MS district. This 17,000 museum educates visitors about the lower Mississippi River and its relationship to Vicksburg and the lower Mississippi Delta region.
The museum is adjacent to a retired motor vessel, the Mississippi IV, and an interactive flood model of the Mississippi River. The museum now provides a glimpse of life along the river with an orientation theater and an assortment of interactive and educational displays.

This 46,000 SF renovation and addition project was completed on time for the new school year and provided a much improved look for this elementary school.
The new addition included new classrooms, a media center and administration suite. The project scope also included a new roofing system, storefront windows, HVAC system, lighting, sprinkler system, and lay-in acoustical ceilings. The existing restrooms were also renovated.

Originally built in the 1950’s, this renovation and addition provided a new landmark for the city of Franklin, Tennessee. The scope included a 15,400 SF addition to facilitate a new worship center, full kitchen, fellowship hall, classrooms and a church office. Approximately 2,500 SF of other renovation was also included.
The new facility now has 200% more space with beautiful stained glass windows and a dramatic new steeple. Batten & Shaw also coordinated the purchasing of pews, kitchen appliances and other décor decisions on this project.
