Jimmy Batten and Danny Shaw originally met in the early 1980’s while working on a healthcare construction project in Hobbs, New Mexico.  The two forged a close friendship and envisioned starting a business together that would stand alone in quality, excellence and integrity within the healthcare construction industry.  Shortly thereafter, Batten & Shaw was founded in 1988 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Batten & Shaw has expanded into a full service construction management firm that builds successful projects across the nation.  The original values and goals that brought the two founders together are still maintained today.

Our commitment to quality and customer service has resulted in a large percent of repeat business, as well as, additional opportunities with new clients.  In addition to healthcare projects, Batten & Shaw has experience in senior living, K-12 and higher education, federal and commercial markets.
